After returning home, Kaia continues practicing the waltz on her own, still thinking about the upcoming Royal Ball. Her excitement only grows when Luka calls and asks her to be her partner for the night.
Wanting to make their time together even more special, Kaia decides to prepare something herself. Even though cooking definitely isn’t her strongest skill, she keeps trying until she finally makes a homemade meal for Luka.
But what was supposed to be a happy day takes a painful turn.
Because of a misunderstanding, Luka never shows up for their date. Kaia waits for hours, from afternoon until evening, worried that something might have happened to her.
The next day, Kaia finally finds Luka in their Secret Garden.
But instead of getting the explanation she hoped for, Luka simply says:
“I… forgot.”
For Kaia, those words hurt more than Luka realizes.
And while Luka quietly regrets everything, she still keeps the real reason to herself.
What follows leaves both of them hurting in completely different places—Kaia trying to understand how Luka could forget something so important, and Luka blaming herself for allowing a misunderstanding to hurt the person she loves.
